Qualifications



Education and Experience: Sufficient formal education such as graduation from high school to ensure the ability to read with comprehension and write would be qualifying.



Two years prior experience as an Ink Jet Technician or production line machine operator would be qualifying.



A combination of three years of experience in an industrial / production maintenance setting and/or post secondary technical trade schooling are required.



Responsibilities



Installing repairing and maintaining ink jet printing equipment to include the associated programmers and all associated electrical mechanical electronic hydraulic and pneumatic systems.



Trouble-shooting and analyzing faults by tracking indications of problems



Updating trouble-shooting charts as necessary to match data.



Keeping an accurate inventory and daily update of all parts and supplies used during ink jet repair.



Maintaining an optimal level of inventory on hand to effect repairs.



Keeping track of all bag taggers and repairing and ordering parts when needed.



Troubleshooting timing and repairs to mailheads and mailhead control systems.



Responding promptly to pages.



Maintaining technical proficiency to perform assigned duties.



Fully completing job cards daily via MP2 maintenance software system.



Performing other related duties and following any other instructions as may be required by supervision.
