ExecuJet Charter Service is actively seeking candidates to fill the pivotal role of Chief Pilot. ExecuJet is a Part 135 Charter, Management, and Maintenance provider with Worldwide 10 or More Authorization based in Tampa Bay. ExecuJet has a high compliance attitude and safety is our #1 priority as evidenced by our more than 30 years of operating incident and accident free since our inception. ExecuJet flights are a healthy mix of Part 91 and Part 135 flying, with 99% retail flying due to our longtime dedicated client base with very little wholesale flying, no floating fleet, and with all trips terminating back at base.

Minimum Qualifications:
Qualified candidates must have a minimum of 5,000 hours total time with at least 1,500 hours turbine PIC and meet or exceed the requires as listed in 14 CFR Part 119.71. King Air 300 Series, Citation 500 Series, and Falcon 50/900 type is a plus.

The Chief Pilot is directly responsible to the Director of Operations. The Chief Pilot directly supervises flight crewmembers, training instructors and check airmen. The Chief Pilot is responsible for the training and qualification of company flight personnel. The Chief Pilot will hold the required certificates, qualifications, and experience as per 14 CFR Part 119 or deviation as approved by the FAA. The Chief Pilot shall be highly knowledgeable of Company Manuals, FAA Regulations, NTSB Procedures, Operations Specifications, Aircraft Flight Manuals, and any other material pertinent to his/her duties. The Chief Pilot may exercise operational control over company flights and may initiate, conduct, or terminate a flight for the company. This position requires a mixture of flight and office duties with ability to work remotely when able.

Specific Chief Pilot duties, responsibilities and authority are as follows:

Aids in establishing and maintaining the approved company ground and flight training programs for crewmembers, check airmen, instructors and other operations personnel associated with his/her duties, and for the approval and use of aircraft simulators (if applicable) and other training devices or aids.
Ensures that aircraft and equipment are available for training and directs all training and testing activities of flight crewmembers.
Directs the training and testing of company personnel who must meet the public.
Assists the Director of Operations in formulating operations policies and coordinates the enforcement of company operations policies.
Advises the Director of Operations on the status of flight operations and the training of flight crewmembers and is responsible for crewmember standardization.
Prepares and maintains pilot training and proficiency records, flight schedule reports and correspondence pertaining to operations and training activities.
Disseminates flight safety and training information to crewmembers.
Submits required operating reports to the Director of Operations.
Ensures that all company pilots conform to company policies and standard operating procedures.
Ensures that all company pilots conform to Regulatory requirements.
Manages and tracks pilot training, qualification, aircraft assignment and FAA medical status.
Ensures that pilots maintain current route qualifications and receive proficiency checks as required by the FAA and the company.
Reviews and maintains multiengine aircraft load manifests (Aircraft Trip Log) in a permanent file for a period of not less than 30 days from the date it is made.
Maintains crewmember flight time and duty records in a permanent file
Maintains current aircraft checklists.
Ensures that flight crewmembers utilize proper company forms, and they are completed correctly.
Disseminates company policy and safety of flight information to pilots and manages the EFB program.
