You will be a key member of our (NGA) Next-Generation Avionics group responsible for designing developing and implementing advanced software solutions for cutting-edge avionics technology that enhance the situational awareness and decision-making capabilities of pilots.

Key Responsibilities

In this role you will impact the aviation industry by developing innovative software solutions that improve the functionality reliability and user experience of avionics solutions.

• You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements design software architectures and implement software modules.
• Leverage your expertise in software engineering to drive innovation and deliver high-quality solutions
• Design develop and test software applications ensuring high performance reliability and user-friendliness.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software issues to ensure system performance and reliability
• Software architecture and coding

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

YOU MUST HAVE

• Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science/Engineering Electrical Engineering or related technical field.
• 4+ years of experience in software development of embedded systems avionics or related products

WE VALUE

• Understanding various software development life cycles methodologies and tools.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++ Python and/or Open GL.
• Experience developing software in a Real-Time Operating System
• Experience in software development for embedded systems display technologies automotive or aerospace applications
• Experience with Avionics products desirable i.e. Avionics Displays and Graphics Flight Mgmt Flight Planning Flight Controls Flight Displays (PFD) Traffic Collision Avoidance (TCAS) Crew Alert Messaging (CAS) Terrain Radios etc
• Experience operating in an Agile framework desired
• Can quickly analyze incorporate and apply new information and concepts.
