Adeccos Permanent Recruitment team is assisting a large manufacturing company in Portland CT. We are looking for experienced CNC Machinist. This is a full time direct hire (Permanent) job opportunity. If interested please APPLY now!

Position Title: CNC Set-up Machinist

Pay Rate Range: $25/hr.- $32/hr. depending on experience

Schedule(s)/Hours 1st shift (7 am to 3:30 pm) Mon.- Fri.

Location: Portland CT

Responsibilities Include:

• Operating CNC and other manufacturing machines to produce machined parts;

• Planning production by studying work orders blueprints engineering plans materials specifications locations of surfaces and machining parameters.

• Interpret Geometric Dimensions and Tolerances (GD&T).

• Ensuring proper dimensions and tolerance levels for the finished product.

Experience:

• 3 yrs. + experience with CNC machine operation in aerospace or medical device industry.

• CNC Set-up experience is MUST

• Perform basic mathematical computations.

• Geometric Dimensions and Tolerances (GD&T) knowledge is required.

• Ability to use measuring equipment: calipers micrometers gauges indicators etc.

Qualifications Include:

• Attention to detail and must be quality conscious

• Excellent communication skills

• High school diploma or equivalent
