Description, duties, responsibilities

To perform a full range of landside and airside maintenance duties; performs preventive maintenance and repair of a wide variety of machinery and equipment ensuring efficient safe and productive operations. SUPERVISION EXERCISED Employee has no supervisory responsibilities. Essential Duties CORE COMPETENCIES: Oversees airside and landside grounds by ensuring all areas are mowed edged and landscaped; ensures all irrigation and watering systems for the grounds are operable and maintained. Ensures herbicide and pesticide applications are properly and safely dispensed according to Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA) Policy. Maintains airport building structures and other outlying support facilities. Performs a full range of indoor/outdoor semi-skilled construction and maintenance projects as needed.
