Description, duties, responsibilities

Reporting to the Finance Manager the Airport Accountant performs professional accounting work maintains financial records implements and maintains department accounting policies and procedures. Ensures accounts payable and receivable are current. Performs general lease management functions. Assists the Airport Administration and Finance Manager in the development and monitoring of programs and policies. Key Responsibilities The following duties are most critical for this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned. Assists in developing the annual Airport budget. Maintains accounting and financial control records. Prepares analyzes add reviews estimates of revenue reimbursement expenditures and other accounts. Assists with enforcement of Federal Aviation Regulations County policies and Airport rules and regulations.
