At Doncasters Structural Castings of Oxford we have an opportunity for Straightener to join ourteams in Oxford AL.

This positions shift is a 40-hour work week with potential overtime. This individual could work a 5AM-5:30PM split shift or 5:30PM- 2:00AM 2nd Shift with motivated employees and our Management Team to become a part of a successful Industrial Casting Company with a good work life balance.

Starting Pay:$17.69

This is an exciting opportunity. Its not just a job. As a Straightener each day dawns with a thrilling mix of applying technical understanding manual mastery and hands-on engagement. Your duty is to use mallets vises kick-presses and other hand and bench tools to flatten straighten adjust angles and perform other operations as required to bring part within acceptable limits. Check work with dial indicators dimensions and inter-relationships and with a high demand for flatness parallelism and angularity of features. You will exercise care in operation and handling to avoid surface damage cracking or excessive distortion. Verifying the extraordinary you will utilize handheld tools and machinery daily.
