Job Description

Schedule Information: Part-time teaching position - daytime evening weekend or online.

Responsibilities

The Aviation Instructor will develop and plan classroom-based introductory and certification classes that cover topics such as airframes aircraft systems (electrical and induction) flight instruments the theory of flight aerodynamics radio communication aviation meteorology navigation aviation safety aviation management and/or aircraft maintenance basics.

Continuing Professional Education courses are short-term training and are completed within one semester.

Qualifications

Educational Requirements: An Associates or Bachelors degree in aviation or related field; FAA License and/or Certification.

Experience Requirements: Two years of industry experience in aviation or aviation instruction.

Required Documents: A resume and cover letter are required to complete the application process.

Official transcripts required upon hire.
