Job Details
80% business development mainly with existing clients and some new 20% project management
Responsibilities:
Serve as the local liaison for contracted design and construction projects fostering seamless collaboration.
Collaborate with the Business Unit Leader to develop and execute sales and marketing strategies that effectively penetrate targeted business segments and maintain a robust sales pipeline with short- and long-term objectives.
Identify and cultivate specific clients markets and services that align with the firms strengths. Contribute to the development of annual business plans and growth targets.
Proactively identify and engage with leads prospects potential clients influencers and industry stakeholders. Coordinate and streamline business development activities ensuring efficient use of time and resources while maximizing win rates. Provide necessary materials and information to support these efforts.
Develop tailored strategies to cultivate prospects and secure projects at the firm target market and individual prospect/project levels. Devise specific positioning activities and capture plans to win over target clients and opportunities.
Foster strong relationships with local contracting partners sub-consultants and economic development organizations.
Act as the communication bridge between clients and internal BRPH teams for all new business activities.
Support the pursuit team in developing proposals by identifying required roles coordinating with relevant stakeholders to determine hours and fees producing technical support documents and leading follow-up actions as the client point of contact for negotiations and contract execution.
Function as a billable Project Executive to ensure effective handover of relationships and technical information facilitating seamless team transitions.
Qualifications:
A Bachelors degree in architecture or engineering is required.
Extensive experience of at least ten years in a project management role coupled with a proven track record as a successful "seller-doer" professional.
Proficiency in operating personal computers and utilizing essential software programs such as Deltek Vantagepoint MS Office Suite (Excel Word Outlook) Bluebeam and other industry-specific applications as required.
Preferred:
Registered/licensed architect or engineer
PMP certification preferred but not mandatory.
