Pay Rate:

The starting pay rate for this position is expected to be $19.52-$23.52 per hour. The current full hourly range for this position is $19.52 - $23.52 per hour.

This is a physically demanding job. In addition to loading and unloading the aircraft you will perform a variety of tasks.
  • Operations of equipment such as tugs/tractors belt loaders and forklifts.
  • Working in an environment full of activity fast-paced and often noisy.
  • Previous experience driving in ramp environment preferred.
  • Safety is our number one concern and we provide personal safety gear for use on the job.
  • Must comfortably frequently continuously and within short timelines: lift carry and move heavy items; work in cramped or high places; climb bend kneel crawl and stoop for extended periods of time; carry heavy items up and down stairs; push/pull loaded and empty carts; and stand for extended periods.

Must haves to join our team:
  • Must have a good driving record with no license suspensions within the past 10 years no more than 3 speeding tickets within the past 5 years and No DUIs within the last 3 years.
  • Must meet expectations of all McGee team members related to safety uniform compliance attendance reliability process and procedure compliance and all other requirements related to ongoing employment
  • Previous customer-facing experience required
  • Previous passenger bus experience preferred
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with an ability to get along with others
  • Proactive and ability to anticipate needs of others in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to receive and communicate information in English
  • Ability to pass background criminal history check and drug test
  • Lifting up to 75 pounds on a frequent basis
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must have a valid drivers license and one of the following documents to be qualified for this position.
    • Original or certified copy of a birth certificate
    • Unexpired US Passport
    • Permanent Resident Card
    • Unexpired US Territory Passport and I-94
  • Airport SIDA Badge Requirements
    • Important update for non-crew employees working at an airport or maintenance hangar: Employees will be required to obtain a SIDA badge provided by the airport authority and maintain good standing in order to keep their SIDA badge. Review the document for a comprehensive overview.

Bus Duties
  • Performs and records on specified forms or by electronic means required pre- and post-trip walk around visual inspections to check for damage to vehicle and ensure all equipment is functioning properly. Report any defects to supervisor
  • Ensures the cleanliness of bus and boarding areas
  • Consistently adheres to traffic rules and regulations ensuring safety is the primary focus
  • Addresses questions and concerns from passengers with professionalism and courtesy
  • Acts in accordance with the values of Safety Service Integrity Mutual Respect Accountability and Pride at all times and portrays a positive image in this customer-facing role
  • Willing to perform additional duties as assigned

Physical Requirements of the Job:

All team members are expected to be able to constantly lift up to 75 pounds on a frequent consistent and repetitive basis. Certain roles require team members to work while on their knees at or above their shoulders or while bending or stooping.
