Description, duties, responsibilities

We have an opportunity for Co-Captain/First Officer to join our flight team. This position is responsible for safely operating a corporate jet for flights originating from Tampa, Florida. The duties will involve all aspects of pre-flight preparation, in-flight operations and post-flight activities for a corporate aircraft.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning routes and airports for the safest and more efficient travel
• Function as the safety monitor of the flight and be prepared to assume the duties of PIC
• Responsible for assisting in the evaluation of pre-flight airworthiness including weather, weight and other factors for safe and compliant operation
• Ensuring all required documentation is complete and available prior to flight.
• Safely operate the aircraft in accordance with all Federal Aviation Regulations
• Responsible for complying with all company policies, procedures, checklists
• Provide excellent service and professionalism when interacting with passengers
• Maintain prompt communication with passengers and corporate office regarding delays, rescheduling, weather events, or other significant information.

Qualifications

• Suitable candidates must reside or be willing to relocate to the Tampa Bay area
• Airline Transport Pilot License CL-604 type rating preferred.
• FAA First Class Medical Certificate
• Flight Time - preferred minimum 3000 hours
• Must be technically skilled and able to adapt to changing conditions.
• Computer proficient with MS Word and Excel
• Willing to work flexible hours and some weekends with average of 250 flight hours annually. Mostly domestic travel with some international travel required.
• Must be service-oriented with a willingness to be accommodating and helpful.
• High attention to detail and with excellent follow-through and responsiveness
• Must be able to handle the job responsibilities with integrity, discretion, and professionalism.
• Assist with moving or lifting baggage up to 50 pounds.
