Description, duties, responsibilities

Deliver and pick-up parts to vendors and customers as needed to support production and manufacturing process. Essential Job Functions: Practices safe driving Provides appropriate documentation for the delivery and pick up of goods Loads secures and unloads cargo. Maintains radio or telephone contact with Supervisor in case of route changes. Ensures timely delivery. Check tires brakes lights and gas. Inspect and maintain vehicle adding fluids and oil as needed. Ensure the address on package matches up to the delivery address. Maintain logs of packages delivered. Ensure inventory loads match shipping papers. Additional Duties: Provide support for Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives companywide. Other duties reporting special assignments or projects as needed and assigned. Must remain current with and complete all required training as assigned.
