Description
Projects Inc. is seeking an Assembly and Repair Technician to join our team. We manufacturer complex small machined components for the Aerospace and Power Systems industries with an FAA and EASA approved Repair Station for the maintenance andalteration of thermocouples and an FAA Assembly Department. The qualified candidate will have responsibilities in both our Assembly and Repair Station.
The incumbent will assemble instruments such as: Thermocouples Kiel Probes and Pitot Static tubes in our Assembly Department and in our FAA Repair station perform various repair tasks related to thermocouples.
Responsibilities by Department:
Assembly:
- Assemble small parts using a variety of methods including sanders welders and multiple hand tools.
- Performs welding and brazing on small parts.
- Comply with policies procedures and regulatory FAA guidelines.
- Other duties as required.
Repair Station:
- Perform various tasks in the process of repairing thermocouples by following written work instructions.
- Disassemble and assemble thermocouples.
- Complete easy circuit wiring.
- Measure loop resistance by utilizing impedance meters.
- Measure insulation resistance by utilizing Megohmmeters.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Must be able read and understand blueprints.
- Be Detail-oriented.
- Possess a high level of dexterity.
- Ability and desire to learn and take direction.
- Must be able to adapt to changes.
- Strong desire to succeed.
- Must understand read and write English.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit for the duration of the day.
- Some lifting - up to 20 lbs. is required.
- Compensation: based on experience

Salary Description
$19 .00 to $23.00 per hour
