Serco is seeking a talented Senior Program Manager to join the team onsite at Wright-Patterson AFB Ohio(No telework/remote work at this location). This role will be supporting the Special Programs Division (AFLCMC/WAG).

An active SECRET security clearance with background investigation current within the past 6 years or under Continuous Evaluation. Ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) access and apply for a TOP-SECRET security clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information.

The Fighters and Advanced Aircraft Special Programs Division develops tests and rapidly fields classified Air Force aeronautical capabilities. AFLCMC/WAG conducts studies to identify new capabilities; transitions laboratory technologies to operational platforms; executes demonstrations; and develops tests and rapidly fields new capabilities for the warfighter. You will be providing bold and innovative program management solutions on one or more programs by working with labs test organizations operational users and industry.

In this role you will:
  • Provide program management support to classified programs utilizing DoD acquisition processes and policies for the procurement of systems subsystems and life cycle acquisition management.
  • Assist in initiating new prototype and development programs
  • Employ acquisition program analysis in the areas of acquisition and contracting strategy program planning and control schedule development test configuration management risk management contract changes financial management production and product support
  • Assist in the planning development editing and staffing of acquisition document products
  • Develop and present briefings on program status and/or recommendations to senior leadership
  • Conduct technical evaluations of contractor proposals
  • Assist in annual program cost estimates and Program Objective Memorandum development and submission
  • Interface with weapons system contractors vendors and Government users regarding programmatic aspects
  • Support program technical interchange meetings program management reviews executive management reviews test meetings development/operational test events integrated product team meetings software/hardware design reviews etc
  • Perform program risk assessments and develop mitigation plans
  • Transition programs to production and long-term sustainment
  • Review and give feedback to contract deliverable products

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you will have:
  • A U.S. citizenship
  • An active SECRET security clearance with background investigation current within the past 6 years or under Continuous Evaluation. Ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) access and apply for a TOP-SECRET security clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information
  • A Bachelors Degree with 7 years of relevant experience
  • In depth knowledge of DoD acquisition program management
  • To travel up to 10%

Additional desired skills and qualifications:
  • An active TOP-SECRET security clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) Special Access Program (SAP) and have eligibility with background investigation current within the past 6 years or under Continuous Evaluation
  • A Masters degree
  • 12 months or more of SAP experience within the past 5 years
  • Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Level II or III certification in Program Management
  • 10 years of DoD Acquisition Program Office experience
  • DoD Acquisition strategy process development and lifecycle management
  • In-depth experience with other acquisition disciplines
