General information Job Title Airport Operations Agent - SBA (Delta) FT Date Friday March 8 2024 State California City Santa Barbara Base Pay Rate: $ 19.50 Full/Part Time Full Time Shift A.M. shift Overnight shift P.M. shift Requirementsand Description Benefits Flight Benefits exclusive travel privileges for yourself and your family with Delta Airlines Competitive pay with daily access to earned wages Paid holidays and paid time off Comprehensive Medical Dental and Vision Insurance 401k company match upon eligibility Exclusive discounts and additional wellness programs Responsibilities for Operations Agent Reads and analyzes flight fuel and payload distribution records of the number of passengers pieces of luggage and amount of freight and fuel to determine the weight and balance of the aircraft. Receives and communicates information to and from pilots ground crew flight dispatchers and fuelers in an accurate professional and timely manner. Completes paperwork daily logs and forms pertaining to procedures of flight departures/arrivals statistical reports on each flight and enters the information into the computer system. Notifies ground crew when flights are in range of arrival to allow time to prepare for flight arrival and irregular operations as required. Prepares dispatch release forms and collects weather reports. Arranges fueling for the aircraft as needed. Maintains all FAA required files for compliance auditing. Advises Ramp Agents on the distribution of the flight load. Qualifications for Operations Agent Able to work in extreme conditions such as hot and cold weather as well as small spaces Eligible to receive appropriate security clearances after satisfactory completion of a criminal background check. Familiarity with basic computer programs to assist with record-keeping and baggage routing Possess a valid drivers license with a good driving record. Flexible schedule allowing work during nights weekends and holidays. Some shifts may require extended hours to meet business needs. Must be able to lift carry push pull and move items up to 70 pounds or more on a regular basis. Must be able to observe judge distances identify surroundings hazards aircrafts and equipment. Must be able to communicate by radio and other devices.
